Clinic Assist
Clinic Assist Software
Founded in 1995, Assurance Technology has the longest history amongst the different CMSes in Singapore. Assurance Technology has a company size of 45 and Clinic Assist Software currently has the largest reported market share within PCP users.
At first glance, the CMS Sutra team realized that Clinic Assist Software is a very intuitive system that is friendly towards new users, making it a system that is quick to pick up for new onboarding clinics to fit into their clinic workflows.
One significant feature that we liked was the system notice board, which is able to notify users of any system maintenance and updates within the software itself, this keeps the ecosystem within the software itself without the need to enter a different site link to look at the changelogs. Clinic Assist Software also utilizes an e-ticketing support system that assures every ticket gets resolved.
Due to the large user base, there are also many peer support channels available for the user, the CMS Sutra team finds this an invaluable asset to new onboarding clinics that could need peer advice in improving their individual clinic workflows by the shared experiences from long-term users in practical day-to-day clinic settings.
As with any web-based application, a stable internet connection is integral to the reliability of the program. Based on our review responses, there have been instances of lag or delays especially after large updates. However, the Clinic Assist Software team is quick to resolve bugs presented and is usually stable. Similar to many data-based applications, refreshing the system to clear hidden caches is a very good habit to adopt due to the heavy loads of daily clinic practice.
Longer term users of Clinic Assist Software have notably commented on the surge in costs to enable the HealthierSG functions, with an increased monthly subscription cost of 50% to fulfill HealthierSG requirements. This costing could be a point of consideration for Group clinic owners to weigh the balances of cost-efficiency ratio.
Many of our survey respondents have also reported that Clinic Assist Software has very extensive functionalities but they do not have the opportunity to learn the entire system in a deeper sense, this could be due to clinics already finding a comfortable enough workflow to manage their clinics and hence do not feel the need to require additional training. The CMS Sutra team encourages clinics to adopt a more tech-savvy approach and book refresher sessions with the CMS to stay updated and continue developing clinic workflows as society constantly evolves with the ever-changing technological landscape.
